1-Foreign currency
1-1 Foreign currency agency contracts:
During this period, two contracts were concluded between NDFI on the one side and Ansar and Saderat Iran banks on the other side, each worth 500 million dollars. The grand total of agency contracts amounts 31200 million dollars, through 19 contracts concluded with 16 state and private banks as of Feb 20.
1-2 The approved projects
Two projects worth 408 million dollars were approved in the same period to receive foreign currency facilities, creating 372 jobs.
A project worth 9 million dollars was cancelled as requested by the agent bank.
Taking the approved and cancelled projects into account, the grand total of approved projects as of Feb 20, stands at 331 projects worth 18127 million dollars.
2- National currency facilities
2-1 Agency contracts in Rial:
During this period, one contract worth 3000 billion Rials (some 122 million dollars) was concluded between NDFI and Bank Keshavarzi (Bank of Agriculture) to finance the processing industries of agriculture sector. The grand total of agency contracts in Rial amounts 7272 million dollars.
2-2 The approved and paid facilities
The facilities granted, based on Para 5-1 and 5-2 of the annual budget, amounted 1699 billion Rials for 49 projects.
Taking the approved projects in this period into account, the grand total of approved projects in national currency as of Feb 20, stands at 90 projects worth 4288 billion Rials.
Based on Para 16 of the current annual budget law, 7031 billion Rials was approved for 13275 projects while 7499 billion Rials was paid for 13236 projects.
The grand total of approved projects, including Bank Keshavarzi, the approved projects reached 80083 worth 38691 billion Rials for which 70105 projects received 30480 billion Rials, creating 101502 jobs.
