Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi underlined NDF proposal to establish ECO Joint investment Fund as a solution and a major break-through in his briefings for the 15th ECO Summit. The proposal was raised by NDF in ECO Members Sovereign Wealth Funds Meeting during the Summit.
According to a report released by NDF Public Relations, having a briefing on the 15th ECO Summit held in Turkmenistan's capital Ashgabat on Sunday November 28, 2021, Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, restating NDF proposal in ECO Members Sovereign Wealth Funds Meeting said: " As soon the required arrangements for establishment of ECO Joint Investment Fund are made, Iran will allocate its shares to projects to be covered and supported by ECO JIF.
Highlighting Iran's support to any suggestion and initiatives leading to promotion of cooperation among ECO members, Raisi believes: "Trade capacities of the region, development and substructure necessities, and restriction of availability to out-of-region financial resources require more effective mechanisms within a modern regional-national architecture, NDF Public Relations report adds.
