NDFI deputy of Foreign Investments and Operations talking about membership of NDFI in International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds , said :The members soon determine the location of IFSWF secretariat , by voting in its annual meeting in Oslo, Norway.

Dr. Mohammad Mazraati added: having recognized the importance and influence of sovereign wealth funds in financial and money markets , IMF developing a forum to harmonize the SWFs functions , setting principles and standard practices came into being .

He referred to the meeting of SWFs in 2007 which resulted in the (IWG) under the auspices of IMF and later on IFSWF .

IMF tries to help this International Forum by offering technical assistance in investment operations in financial and money markets and also in portfolio management.

He added: In October 2-3 the members vote to determine the location of the secretariat of IFSWF during the annual IFSWFs meeting in Norway with participation of NDFI delegates.

NDFI Deputy of Foreign Investments and Operations also said : Iran, the same as other 23 members has accepted the Santiago Principles .
