In the presence of the first vice president and Mehdi Ghazanfari, the head of the National Development Fund, the performance report of the National Development Fund in financing power plant projects was discussed and the latest status of the National Development Fund's claims from power plant projects were presented, and decisions were made to settle the debts.
As reported by the public relations department of the National Development Fund, in a meeting attended by Mohammad Mokhber, the First Vice President of Iran, discussions were made on financing for power plant projects and the latest status of the National Development Fund's current claims from power plant projects.
During this joint session attended by the National Development Fund's chairman and board members, along with the Minister of Energy, a report was presented on the role of National Development Fund in financing power plant projects with a production capacity of 15,000 megawatts with an investment of $9 billion. Additionally, the session discussed private power plants that applied for facilities from the National Development Fund. It was decided during the meeting that, the construction of steam units for private gas power plants with a capacity of 2560 megawatts, a 4000-megawatt solar power plant, 9 desalination projects with a capacity of 72,000 cubic meters, and a water treatment plant with a capacity of 173,000 cubic meters, to be finalized in the thirteenth government from the facilities and funding of the National Development Fund.
